New Web Site (Revisited)
Welcome to the newly shined up and facelifted Region II website!
The big change is the new calendar. It pulls information from several Google calendars. The old calendar would do that, but the link wasn't automatic, so it got out of date pretty easily. I hope this change will make it easier for others to add calendar entries. In the past, only those events that I heard about made it to the calendar.
The other interesting advantage to the Google calendars is that they are public calendars. You can link the Google calendars to a desktop calendar program or a smart phone. Several of these calendars I already use on my phone. When I make a change or addition on the phone, the website is automatically updated. Normal acces to the calendars will be read-only, but even that is pretty cool stuff.
I'm having some trouble posting the links for the differnt calendar sources from Google. As soon as I figure it all out, I'll post the links for the various calendars used on the site.

Kiwanis Conference Annual Banquet
The Kiwanis Conference of Western PA will hold its annual banquet at the Western PA School for Blind Children on Thursday, May 24 beginning at 6:00 pm. The cost for dinner is $15 per person. Reservations are required by Sunday, May 20.
